GoatShields can be topically cleaned for longer life or are machine washable as need when heavily soiled. We recommend topical cleaning frequently for superior long lasting use and to maintain the integrity of the microfiber weave. The filters can also be disinfected using common household disinfectants and then allowing them to air dry in a sunny spot. However, if you are concerned at all about the integrity of your used filter please replace it accordingly.
